…watching… Gilmore Girls! People have raved about this show for years, but I never jumped on the bandwagon until now! I really love this so and I’m so glad I started watching it!

…reading… “Unraveling Oliver.” I’m not sure about this one yet. It’s definitely a page turner but I’m not sure where the story is going just yet. I’m about halfway done, I’ll let y’all know what I think when I’m done with it!

…listening to…  Lots of podcasts! Mike and I have both become obsessed with them. They’re so interesting. Our favorite right now is Dave Ramsey. Do you listen to podcasts, and if so what are some of your favs? I’m always looking for new ones to listen to.

…wanting… Lots of home decor and fall/winter clothes! I just ordered some new jeans from Gap and I’m so excited about them! All my extra money has been going to home related items lately so it’s been hard to buy clothes BUT I don’t have any cute clothes for this coming fall/winter season so I’m going to have to slowly start buying clothes. It’s just so tempting to buy more decor right now because this is my favorite time of year to decorate! #priorities

…looking forward to… Colder weather! I love everything about fall time and winter. Who doesn’t love Thanksgiving, Christmas, snow, homemade soup, and everything else that comes with fall?!

…enjoying… Reading again! I haven’t picked up a book in forever, and if you know me, you know I love a good book. I forgot how relaxing & elevating reading is. Any good book recommendations? I’m up for anything!

Recent Reads: Liane Moriarty & Ruth Ware

Reading has always been one of my favorite things to do. When I got married, I found it hard to find time to read. I almost felt guilty for reading because there was always something else to do around the house, or something would distract me *social media,* and I wouldn’t make time for reading. I’ve started making time to read again, usually before bed, and I’m loving it! Loving Liane Moriarty in particular. Here’s what I’ve been reading:

I’m sharing some things I’ve been loving lately! If you try any of these products let me know what you think about them!

Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo for Light Tones

I have tried a lot of dry shampoos over the past couple of years and I always go back to this one. They carry a dry shampoo for dark tones also, and I love that they do that because each dry shampoo has pigment in it that make each specific hair tone shine & look as natural as possible. Most dry shampoos make my hair look powdery and I HATE that! I don’t want to walk around looking like I poured baby powder on my head. I have a very oily scalp and this dry shampoo really absorbs oil well. I absolutely love this product.

Homemade Olive Oil & Vinegar Dressing

My Grandmother has always made a salad dressing made of olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic salt, and salad supreme seasoning. I have tried time and time over and cannot seem to make it like she does. I always end up mixing too much of one of the ingredients and it ends up absolutely awful.

I subtracted from and added to a variety of recipes until I found the absolute perfect salad dressing. I love to use this dressing not only on salads, I use it on tuna (sometimes mixed in with a salad),  sandwiches, and pretty much anything else you can possibly think of because I could seriously drink this stuff! I love that it’s homemade, so I don’t have to worry about any ingredients being in there that I can’t pronounce. Being that I make it almost weekly, I know I’m putting something fresh into my body which is something I really value.

I have always absolutely loved ranch dressing and I have never found a dressing that compares to ranch until I started making this. I actually now prefer my homemade oil & vinegar dressing over ranch dressing any day.

Side Note: I realize this dressing does have sugar in it, not making it the healthiest thing in the world, but I have omitted the sugar and I honestly couldn’t tell a difference. If you try it out without the sugar, let me know what you think!
