Since I have highlighted hair, it’s super important that I take care of it. I’m trying to grow my hair out, too, so I’m doing everything I can to make that happen. Being a hairdresser, I’m all the time searching for the best products to not only use on myself, but to recommend to my clients as well. These products are tried-and-true. I love them, and I don’t think I could live without them in my life!
This shampoo + conditioner combination is amazing. I have pretty oily hair, so I had the hardest time finding something that was strengthening my hair while also not making it greasy. I wash my hair at night and I can use this conditioner all the way to my scalp without having to worry about it looking oily throughout the next day. I’ve used this shampoo for about a year now, and I have seen a huge transformation in my hair. A cheaper, comparable option is the Redken Extreme Shampoo & Redken Extreme Conditioner.
This intensive hair mask is formulated with biotin, which helps build strength in hair. After I shampoo, I squeeze as much water out of my hair as possible, then I apply a nickel sized amount from root to ends. I let that sit for 2-5 minutes, no longer, and then rinse. I do this typically once a week, but more than that would not hurt the hair, especially if you’ve got very damaged hair. This product leaves my hair silky and shiny without making the hair look greasy. What more is there to ask for in a product? I love this stuff.
If you have limp hair like I do, you need to get this product. It’s applied on towel dried hair before blow drying. I get more volume than I ever thought was possible after using this, it’s fabulous. I hate products that leave a nasty residue on my roots, which is something I find with a lot of volume sprays, and this product leaves behind no residue AT ALL. I could honestly rave about this p for forever and ever. You’ve got to try it out.
It’s unhealthy for the hair for it to be washed every day. For people like me, who’ve got naturally oily hair, this a challenge. I’ve tried different dry shampoos and I could never find one that I really loved until I found this! It comes in two different tones, light and dark. I use the light tone because it has violet undertones eliminating brass which is great for blondes. However, if you don’t have blonde hair you will need the dark tone. I love it because it leaves my hair feeling refreshed and full of volume.
