I am trying really hard to grow my hair out, and it’s in that super weird mid-length stage. It makes me feel like I don’t really have a “style”, especially when it is straight, which is why I typically curl it! My hair is also super limp and thin, so I feel like curling it gives it more volume, and of course I love that. Curling it is fast, simple, and easy. That’s exactly how I like to do things!
I use a one-inch curling iron, and I go around my whole head. It’s is easy for me to do, but if you have thicker hair I would recommend you sectioning out your hair to curl it. I let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes, and then I brush them out with nothing other than my Wet Brush. I tease a little bit right at the root to give it some extra volume. I brush my hair out one last time, being careful not to brush out where I did the teasing. I spray a layer of hairspray all over my hair. If I have a super busy day planned and I know my hair is going need some extra strength to stay curled, I use Kenra Finishing Spray 26. If I have an easy going day ahead of me, I use Redken Quick Dry 18. All of this takes me about ten minutes in the morning. If you’re looking for something a little different, but still easy, try curling your hair!!
